The telescoping adjustment mechanism is defective. The spring-loaded locking pin does not align with the corresponding adjustment hole, so the bar cannot lock securely in position. This appears to be a manufacturing or assembly defect. Because this is a safety grab bar, it cannot be used safely and I am requesting a return and full refund.
